Xiaomi has been famous for its low-end flagship devices, it came in India in July of the year 2014. The first flagship device they launched in India was the Mi3
Xiaomi introduced its first flagship in India with Mi3 and entered Indian market, this phone had leading Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.3 GHz with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB internal storage which they introduced in Rs. 13999. The problem with Mi3 was that it was available with only 16GB of internal and no external card support and it was available only for one and a half month.
The next phone which was introduced was the Mi4, having similar processor clocked at 2.5 Ghz with smaller bezels but Mi4 didn’t have NFC due to less people using it and it had 3 GB of RAM. This phone was made available in India in two variants with internal storage 16 GB and 64 GB, prized at Rs. 18999 and 24999 respectively which have been reduced recently. Some rumors also indicate that with 3 Gig RAM variant 16 MP camera will be there and the 26 MP will be with 4 Gig RAM Variant. It is also said that a USB type C port will be there which supports Quick Charge 3.0, surprisingly Xiaomi is also rumored top bring back NFC as its use is increasing.
