Religion is one of the major reason behind what a human does or does not, many of the motivations behind a no. of acts of crime and terror are motivated solely in the name of religion. People are motivated by the religion they follow each religion has their own gods and own rules and they have only one message and that is to live in Harmony. But this harmony is eroded by some of the interpreters (Babas, Fakir, Missionaries) of the so called Religions and their holy books. Let’s see what impact religions had on humans

1. It divides people

Obviously something that a group of people follow starts becoming a religion and it sets these people apart from the others, this mentality discriminates them and makes a large mental divide between the populations.

2. It motivates people to act rashly

That’s a mild way of putting it but religion is something that have one or more than one holy books which people think as the guidebook for that religion but as said before some of the people are misguided or the people try to interpret these books in their own way and sometimes for their personal gain also. These people motivates the others to follow their path and some times they also result in acts of terrors.

3. People fears the gods

Now if we talk about god or gods anything which may be true or not is unknown but gods were created as ideals for people not something they should fear, a god is said have qualities which makes him a perfect choice for anything as he has all the qualities perfected which is incomplete or imperfect in humans, but these interpreters talk about gods and act as they are somehow in contact with God, and they incite fear so people may follow them.

4. It confuses people

There are many interpreters of the Gods and their holy books and each have their own opinion which changes but these changed opinions make people feel confused as they ponder over the thought that which interpreter they should follow and this makes their life harder.

5. It makes people into fools

There are many fools in the world and they are called terrorists, these people contort the truth to suit their agendas, I am not pointing a finger towards all the people of one religion, all the religion are to blame. Due to this I say religion makes people into fools

Before anyone tries to blame me or curse me, let me say I do not prefer any religion, nor the people have any right to decide about the religions if they say that there is a God, there are many theories and depiction of god in many holy books and each of them describes the god as Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnibenevolent. Thus how can they say that they do something to protect their religion as the basis of every religion is through God and if the depiction and definition of God in all the Holy Books are right then how can one or a group of people protect a being (GOD) who is everywhere (Omnipresence), who knows everything (Omniscience), who have unlimited power (Omnipotence) and who does only good. Then how can simple human beings protect this kind of power.
